When it comes to life financial planning,

we believe in one conviction:

Wealth should be genuine, well-ordered, and able to stand the test of time.

We do not chase short-term gains; instead, we take a long-term perspective to build clear, stable, and sustainable wealth arrangements.

Everything we do is for lasting value.

Creating Your Own Financial Freedom of Choice, Together With You

Returns are not just numbers —
what matters is whether they align with your life goals.

About Returns

True wealth planning has never been about chasing a seemingly attractive rate of return; it's about making sure every arrangement fits your cash flow, life stage, protection needs, and long-term goals. I will break down complex plans into clear, understandable key points, so you know what each number represents — and whether it is truly right for you.

The following three things are the foundation we will clearly explain to you in every plan.

Guaranteed and Projected Must Be Looked at Separately

The figures in a proposal are usually divided into two parts: "guaranteed" and "non-guaranteed / projected." The guaranteed portion represents the commitment set out in the contract, while the projected portion is based on assumed returns, and actual results may be higher or lower. I will help you clearly distinguish between the two, so you are not drawn in by the headline total alone, and every decision is built on transparent information.

IRR and Breakeven Period Determine Whether This Arrangement Is Truly Right for You

The internal rate of return (IRR) already takes into account the payment schedule, policy term, and changes in cash flow, so it cannot simply be compared directly with bank deposit rates. I will help you understand the actual return performance of different plans over different time horizons, and clearly explain the breakeven period — that is, the point in time after which you truly recover your principal. Because life plans change, the flexibility of your funds and the timing arrangements are often just as important as the returns.

Connecting You to the Market Is About Making Comparisons More Meaningful

As a licensed broker, I connect you to major local and global insurance and wealth solutions, so you can compare across a broader range of choices. But the real value lies not in having more options, but in selecting the arrangement that best fits your life stage, family responsibilities, risk tolerance, and long-term goals. The best plan is not necessarily the one that is easiest to sell, but the one you are best able to keep executing over time.

Carl Chan|Founder, AURUM

I have always believed:

Money is a means, not an end.

What is truly worth protecting is the stability and the choices a person —
and a family — have when facing the future.

I believe a good plan should not be the result of you being persuaded in the moment,
but a decision you make after seeing the facts clearly, understanding the risks, and thinking it through. This industry has never lacked products, nor comparisons of returns. What is truly rare is someone willing to sit with you and verify every item, one by one, before you sign. Which figures are guarantees set out in the contract, and which are merely projections based on assumptions; how far apart the outcomes can be between paying in full for the whole term and exiting midway. These are questions I make a habit of asking first — and of explaining clearly to you.

Practising as a licensed broker allows me to connect with major local and global
insurance and investment institutions. But I have always believed that breadth of choice is only the starting point. The real value lies in working from the facts, distinguishing the differences together with you, and then designing an arrangement that genuinely works for your life stage, family responsibilities, and long-term goals.

My income comes from commissions paid by insurance institutions — this is standard practice in the industry. If you want to know how much I would earn on a particular plan, you can ask me directly. I have no reason to hide it. Because what I care about more is not a single transaction, but whether, in the years to come, you will still want to come back and discuss the next step in your life with me.

That is the long-term value I truly care about.

Give your future self an answer.

A good plan is a decision you reach after thinking it through — not the result of being talked into something on the spot. A conversation is not a commitment. It simply gives you one more piece of information, so you can judge for yourself.
